May 20 2007 52nd Annual Drama Desk Awards : This Gallery has the look and feel of s.d. mack pictures because it belongs to sdmackpictures "editorial" community. So, each gallery associated with "editorial" takes on the look and feel of sdmackpictures. The only difference is that when print orders are made, the proceeds and credit goes to your gallery. This ensures uniform branding which will boost print sales. When creating a gallery, use the pre set gallery settings to Edit and to go Live. In the control panel the EDIT pre set will make the gallery private and ensure the right watermark is used. Once the photos are uploaded, the other pre set will ensure the gallery belongs to the "editorial" community. When setting pricing, use the Default setting from previous galleries. I will help you out with all this. When shooting red carpet events, get Headshots with the subjects looking directly in your camera. Most shots should be vertical. For women, make sure that you get full length shots and don't cut off the shoes. Move in for medium shots and head shots. For men, get head shots and medium shots. For people with fashion like Lenny Kravitz or Elton John, get full length shots. They sell. For couples, get any kissing shots and full lengths as well. Avoid horizontal shots unless group shots which are sometimes necessary. Make sure the eyes of your subject are in focus. With some lenses, zoom in, focus and then zoom out before shooting if possible. Avoid sharpening photos when editing and use captions from right to left. If someone in the group shot is unknown, refer to them as guest.
